The reviewed book reconstructs the history, the functioning and the composition (as much as possible) of the library of the Mohyla Academy, the first institution of higher learning among the Eastern Slavs. The reviewed research demonstrates that the library of the Mohyla Academy was similar to the main European university libraries of the time.
