The church of Santa Maria A Buiano in Casentino. Survey, Archaeology and H-BIM analysis of the building The paper presents the results of the archaeological and H-BIM analysis conducted on the Pieve di Santa Maria a Buiano, near Poppi (Arezzo). The site is part of an academic project focused on the Casentino area, a territory rich in medieval buildings. The research, carried out in collaboration between the University of Siena and the University of Florence, aims to characterize the medieval construction techniques used within this area and the documentation of the main related transformation phenomena due to anthropic and natural factors that have affected historic religious buildings from the Middle Ages to the present day.
