La Sardegna e il suo Doppio. La realité virtuelle nella Stazione dell’Arte a Ulassai

Si potrebbe ritrovare un parallelismo tra la realtà virtuale del teatro, così come definita da Antonin Artaud nel saggio Le théâtre et son double, e quella scaturita dall’universo artistico di Maria Lai. Il suo “Doppio” è una Sardegna dalla storia millenaria, la cui personalissima rappresentazione trova nelle forme e nel tipo del suo museo una coinvolgente manifestazione. La Stazione dell’Arte di Ulassai, nella sua aura arcaica costituisce un piccolo esempio poetico di museo contemporaneo, che suggerisce riflessioni su alcuni temi costitutivi dell’ethos museale: la simbiosi tra museo e personalità dell’artista; la compiutezza tipologica dell’edificio museale versus la sua articolata dispersione sul territorio; la reciproca interazione con il paesaggio e l’identità culturale della comunità in cui è insediato; più in generale il rapporto tra ricerca artistica contemporanea, museologia e architettura. A parallel could be identified between the virtual reality of the theatre, as defined by Antonin Artaud in his essay Lethéâtre et son double, and that which arises from the artistic universe of Maria Lai. Its “Double” is Sardinia with itshistory of thousands of years, whose very personal representation finds in the forms and types of her museum acaptivating manifestation. The Stazione dell'Arte (Art Station) in Ulassai, with its archaic aura constitutes a small andpoetic example of a contemporary museum which suggests reflections on some of the themes that are a part of the ethosof a museum: the symbiosis between museum and personality of the artist; the typological completeness of the museumbuilding versus its articulated dispersion throughout the territory; the reciprocal interaction with the landscape and thecultural identity of the community in which it is inserted; and more generally, the relationship between contemporaryartistic research, museology and architecture.
