The acts and documents kept inside parishes represent an inexhaustible source of extraordinary importance for historical research. The knowledge of the archival sedimentation systems of these documentary basins allows us to reconstruct the memory and history of entire communities. This paper aims to analyze the birth and evolution of the Civil Status and in particular the relative organization of the post-conciliar canonical books between Italy and France.

Abstract
