Le prospettive post emergenza dell'Unione europea: tutela della salute e welfare state quali possibili motori di sviluppo dell'economia e del sistema produttivo

The epidemiological emergency once again shows the limits of the European Union, which emerged clearly during the economic and financial crisis. This essay, after reconstructing the context in which the health emergency has exploded and the measures taken so far by the European Institutions to deal with it, focuses on the issues that emerged following the recent ruling of the Bundesverfassungsgericht and reflects on the perspectives of the European Union. L’emergenza epidemiologica mostra ancora una volta i limiti dell’Unione Europea, emersi con chiarezza durante la crisi economica e finanziaria. Questo saggio, dopo aver ricostruito il contesto in cui è esplosa l’emergenza sanitaria e le misure sinora adottate dalle Istituzioni europee per fronteggiarla, si sofferma sulle questioni emerse a seguito della recente sentenza del Bundesverfassungsgericht e riflette sulle prospettive dell’Unione Europea.
