Benedetta Tagliabue with the EMBT studio won in 2012 the design competition organized by CEI for the construction of the new church of S. Giacomo in Ferrara. The building was designed to be an iconic model of ecclesiastical architecture, capable of representing Christian values, while becoming a center of social and cultural aggregation for the community and the neighborhood of the Arginone.
