We consider semi-linearized compressible Navier-Stokes equations, in a 2-dimensional periodic domain, introducing in this scheme generalized diffusive terms. After rewriting the equations in terms of a potential flow for the velocity, we prove existence and regularity for a suitable class of weak solutions.

Abstract
