Hypoxia and HIFs (hypoxia inducible factors) are involved in chronic liver disease progression. We previously showed that hepatocyte HIF-2α activation significantly contributed to NAFLD progression in experimental animals and human patients. In this study we investigated mechanistically, using an appropriate genetic murine model, the involvement of hepatocyte HIF-2α in experimental NASH-related carcinogenesis.

Abstract
Hypoxia and HIFs (hypoxia inducible factors) are involved in chronic liver disease progression. We previously showed that hepatocyte HIF-2α activation significantly contributed to NAFLD progression in experimental animals and human patients. In this study we investigated mechanistically, using an appropriate genetic murine model, the involvement of hepatocyte HIF-2α in experimental NASH-related carcinogenesis.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
