The aim of the present review is to highlight prevalence, risk and protective factors, consequences and present some prevention and intervention strategies of bullying involving children and adolescents with disabilities. Literature shows that they are overrepresented within the bullying dynamics, both as victims and bullies, compared to peers without disabilities. For them, this experience can be more persistent over time and more harmful. A general lack of interventions emerged and, specifically, even less evaluate their effectiveness. In general, specific intervention actions seem important, addressing the needs of students with disabilities, the social dynamics, ad school and the whole-society aspects, in order to promote a competent and inclusive environment.
