Guidelines. Internship procedures for the social work university courses in Albania

The social work profession is a complex one, requiring different skills, solid interdisciplinary knowledge and the ability to deal with practice within different sectors, services, users. The skills, knowledge and values of social work need a preliminary entry, through internships, into the world of the profession. The guidelines of university internships, their supervision activities and the procedures adopted during the Covid 19 pandemic are the focus of this work, carried out thanks to the collaboration of three European universities, the University of Florence, the ISCTE of Lisbon and the Complutense of Madrid, aimed at reviewing social work internships at the Universities of Elbasan, Shkodra and Tirana.
