After World War II, in Italy numerous architects contributed to the design of homes and neighborhoods within the INA-Casa project. In Florence, various districts were designed by famous technicians: Sirio Pastorini, Mario Pellegrini, Ferdinando Poggi and Francesco Tiezzi, Raffaello Fagnoni, Italo Gamberini, Giovanni Michelucci, Giuseppe Vaccaro. Over the years, although these interventions have been extensively studied for their architectural, urban and social characteristics, their performance towards seismic actions has been rarely investigated. Six decades after the realization of the INA-Casa plan, a rereading of the masonry buildings built in Florence from the structural point of view is carried out, aimed at the evaluation of the structural performance under seismic actions.

Abstract
After World War II, in Italy numerous architects contributed to the design of homes and neighborhoods within the INA-Casa project. In Florence, various districts were designed by famous technicians: Sirio Pastorini, Mario Pellegrini, Ferdinando Poggi and Francesco Tiezzi, Raffaello Fagnoni, Italo Gamberini, Giovanni Michelucci, Giuseppe Vaccaro. Over the years, although these interventions have been extensively studied for their architectural, urban and social characteristics, their performance towards seismic actions has been rarely investigated. Six decades after the realization of the INA-Casa plan, a rereading of the masonry buildings built in Florence from the structural point of view is carried out, aimed at the evaluation of the structural performance under seismic actions.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
