An idea of ‘precision’ that, as in the ancients, is inextricably linked to the concepts of ‘truth’, ‘measure’ and ‘harmony’, is the primary inspiration for the extension of the Cerrillo de Maracena School (2013-2014) by Elisa Valero Ramos, and this allows the architect to condense both logical and poetic thought into a single architectural gesture: an austere volume built of concrete and light.
