Interpreting Relational Quantum Mechanics: Everything I Always Wanted to Know About the Relationality of Quantum Mechanics But Was Afraid to Ask, and Still Am.

The present work is set against the general background of a philosophical analysis of features and concepts of quantum mechanics to be understood within realist or antirealist frameworks. The main aim of the thesis is to investigate the conditions of possibility for a structuralist interpretation of relational quantum mechanics, by historically tracing its relational foundations, evaluating its structural content, and highlighting any point of contact and friction between the dichotomous relationality of the interpretation and the different epistemological and ontological alternative attempts found in the literature.
