The topic this research is the urban youth imaginary with respect to the city of Florence. Understanding by imaginary the set of knowledge and common knowledge that informs practices and is informed by them, the research questions guiding the analysis are twofold and aim to investigate on the one hand the components of the youth imaginary with respect to the city, and on the other hand what could be the instruments that would make them empirically comprehensible and investigable.
