La città come contesto e soggetto educativo. Appunti di una ricerca 'in fieri'

Il podcast fa riferimento al tema della crescente complessità del vivere in contesti urbani, spesso caratterizzati da tessuti frammentati e diluiti in sconfinate periferie, richiama l’urgenza di favorire processi educativi e formativi permanenti che possano sollecitare l’evoluzione di città e comunità sostenibili dove sia garantita un’educazione di qualità per tutti, come suggerisce il modello delle “learning cities”. Per indagare tali fenomeni, la ricerca in oggetto ha preso in considerazione lo studio di alcuni processi lifelong e life-wide learning situati nella città di Firenze e rivolti ai giovani, con l’obiettivo generale di far emergere le traiettorie di possibili trasformazioni generative bottom-up in atto e riflettere sulla possibilità di nuove professionalità volte a favorire la rigenerazione urbana dal basso, in armonia con le aspettative e le azioni poste in campo dai soggetti e dalle comunità coinvolte. The podcast refers to the theme of the growing complexity of living in urban contexts, often characterised by fragmented and diluted tissues in boundless suburbs, and recalls the urgency of fostering lifelong educational and training processes that can prompt the evolution of sustainable cities and communities where quality education for all is guaranteed, as suggested by the 'learning cities' model. In order to investigate these phenomena, this research has taken into consideration the study of some lifelong and life-wide learning processes located in the city of Florence and addressed to young people, with the general objective of bringing out the trajectories of possible bottom-up generative transformations underway and reflecting on the possibility of new professionalism aimed at fostering urban regeneration from below, in harmony with the expectations and actions put forward by the subjects and communities involved.
