The house that Paolo Zermani built on the Via Francigena is a rest along the way. Located next to the road yet perched on a knoll, penetrated by the landscape yet enveloped in itself, this severe architecture holds a double value, of openness toward the exterior and of enclosure within an intimate and protected space. The ‘measures’ of the house seem to originate in the slow pace of the route, where the step is articulation, the measure of distances.

Abstract
The house that Paolo Zermani built on the Via Francigena is a rest along the way. Located next to the road yet perched on a knoll, penetrated by the landscape yet enveloped in itself, this severe architecture holds a double value, of openness toward the exterior and of enclosure within an intimate and protected space. The ‘measures’ of the house seem to originate in the slow pace of the route, where the step is articulation, the measure of distances.File in questo prodotto:
