The contribution deals with the dissertation Ubaldino Peruzzi read at the Accademia dei Georgofili in 1852 for analysing his position towards workers' education. As the other people of his "party", Peruzzi deemed workers' education essential in order to fight against the spread of revolutionary tendences.
