Thanks to their well-known bioactivity and intraspecific diversity, cyanobacteria represents one of the most promising and largely unexplored sources for biobased agricultural products. In this work, bioactivity of four cyanobacterial strains was determined on different target organisms of agricultural interest. One of the tested strains showed high biostimulant activity and both bacteriostatic, antifungal and insecticidal activity. Our results encourage further study to determine the potential use of Nostoc in agriculture.

Abstract
