The definitions of the lexemes constitute a part of the database titled "Gallery of Words" is a kind of online dictionary of youth slang, available on the website of the Observatory of Youth Language and Culture at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. The gallery features examples of lexemes along with their definitions, covering several of the most popular words characteristic of Italian youth slang (e.g., maranza, ghostare, tra, etc.). These words were used by speakers of both Polish and Italian youth slang who participated in surveys conducted as part of the NAWA (National Agency for Academic Exchange) project "Young Polish at the Crossroads of Cultures – Promotion, Knowledge, Education", carried out from 2023 to 2024 by Anna Wileczek and Anita Jagun from Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, in collaboration with lecturers of Polish language from the Universities of Genoa, Turin, and Bari.
