Abstract: The introduction to the special issue highlights how the topic of the international projection of Parliaments identifies a paradigmatic 'exercise' in a perspective of constitutional geopolitics, the latter understood as a shared working space between the comparative legal scholar and the geopolitical analyst. In particular, the essay – in exploring the topic of interparliamentary relations – draws on three typical tools of geopolitical reasoning: conditioning factors, geopolitical representations, and maps.
