Real-Life Evaluation of Intravitreal Treatment for Macular Edema Due to Retinal Vein Occlusion

This real-world evaluation demonstrate that intravitreal therapy, involving the use of corticosteroids and anti-VEGF agents, either alone or in combination, is a highly effective and well-tolerated treatment approach for managing macular edema secondary to retinal vein occlusion over the long term. Baseline VA has proven to be an essential prognostic indicator to consider. The therapeutic approach should be evaluated based on baseline VA and CRT, as anatomical and functional outcomes do not always align.
