The title could be misleading. This is not a book about human capital. Or, better, not only about human capital. It is rather a stinging critique to the neoliberal approach to the state’s role, i.e. minimal, and how this has produced increasing income inequality, lower economic growth and political instability.

Abstract

The title could be misleading. This is not a book about human capital. Or, better, not only about human capital. It is rather a stinging critique to the neoliberal approach to the state’s role, i.e. minimal, and how this has produced increasing income inequality, lower economic growth and political instability.
