The article, divided into two parts, examines the legal implications arising from the use of US military bases in the Gulf to conduct attacks against Iran during the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran in February 2026. It analyses a range of possible scenarios from the perspectives of both jus ad bellum and jus in bello, with particular attention to the degree of involvement of the Gulf States in the US military operations conducted from US military bases located on their territories. / L’articolo, suddiviso in due parti, analizza le implicazioni giuridiche derivanti dall’utilizzo delle basi militari statunitensi nel Golfo per condurre attacchi contro l’Iran nel contesto della guerra lanciata dagli Stati Uniti e da Israele contro l’Iran nel febbraio 2026. L'articolo si basa su una serie di possibili scenari sia dal punto di vista dello jus ad bellum sia da quello dello jus in bello, alla luce del diverso grado di coinvolgimento degli Stati del Golfo nelle operazioni militari statunitensi condotte a partire dalle basi militari statunitensi situate nei loro territori.
