La Loggia nella città medioevale. Genesi, Rilievo e Ricostruzione dei processi di trasformazione: l'esempio di Pescia

The Loggia della Cancelleria of Pescia constitutes an important testimony to the civil history of the city between the 13th and 14th centuries, of which today only a few traces remain in the walls of a seventeenth century building in Piazza Mazzini. Although there are numerous literary sources that testify to the presence of a municipal loggia in Pescia, the events that occurred in its seven centuries of life had never been precisely traced; these are ideal conditions for experimenting with the integration between different survey techniques, methods and procedures, with the aim of discerning that information useful for reconstructing its construction and transformation phases.
