The widths of lattice and internal Raman lines in ferroelectric NaNO2 were measured in the temperature interval 4-200 K. Calculations of the double-vertex self-energy series based on an atom/atom and charge/charge potential agree well with observations. A better fit of data is obtained if anharmonic constants are treated as adjustable parameters.
