Abstract

The ptc of the Cu(I IO)[water iulerl'aee in acidic medium was delermined by means of chrontv,:oulometric and electrtv~hemical iml~dance D|easarenteliltso Tire value o[ ,- 0.93 :l: 0,01 V (SCE) was supl~rted by the tes~ of the Gouy~Ctmpman theory tamed oat on the basis of Parsous~Zol~l and of E v~. ~b,t plots. This pzc value fits in the normal sequence of Ihe lileratnre value.~ ti~r the o|her Iow4ndex laces of cop~r as obtained ti'om acidic solutions, which are constantly n)ol~ negative lima those obtained from neutral solutions. AdsL~q~tion measu~menls of aliphatic as well as aromatic compounds on the Cut!
