This paper presents the results of a case study research conducted in one of the best in class Italian Oil and Gas Companies which is moving towards a Product-Oriented Product Service System (PSS) strategy. The rationale behind choosing the single case study method was to observe the studied phenomenon. Those information have been collected and compared with the state of the art. At the end some general evidences and outcomes have been proposed. The paper focuses on the product oriented PSS in the Oil and Gas OEM industry, where the ownership of the product is transferred to customer, and where the manufacturer offers additional services directly related to the product through the use of contractual services.
