The present invention refers to galactosylated peptides formed of 11-21 amino acids capable of identifying autoantibodies in autoimmune diseases such as Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Juvenile RA, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, and inflammatory bowel diseases, and therefore useful tools for diagnosis or therapeutic treatment of those pathologies, in particular RA.
