The aim of the present study was to develop an Italian version of the 14-item Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ-14; Dowson & Henderson, 2001), designed to measure concern about body image of both clinical and non-clinical population. CFA confirmed the single factor structure of the scale. Results revealed an adequate fit of the model according to conventional criteria. The BSQ-14 seems useful to measure body dissatisfaction even in Italian contexts.
