La qualità nelle produzioni vitivinicole

A theoretical framework is proposed which allows an analysis of economic aspects of the quality of wine at three points in the chain of production and consumption, highlighting the sphere of consumption. General aspects of product differentiation are explored, then the neo-classical approach to consumption and demand for wine is discussed with reference to the literature. Alternative approaches to consumption and demand and also reviewed. Changes in the structure of preferences following economic development has caused the vine products subsector to experience a dynamic demand structure. Particular reference is made to Italy.
