The text examines the complex process of development of philosophy of education of the Anglo-Saxon analytic matrix from the late fifties to the eighties-nineties, analyzing problems, issues, theoretical concepts, reconstructing the terms of debate and following the complex historical-epistemological process, marked by a crisis of the philosophical and analytical model originally, between neo-Aristotelian and neo-liberal revision of it. It also presented the analysis of three models - perhaps the most symbolic and discursive analysis in designing educational and training - those of Kneller, Peters, Scheffler, that mark three significant borders of analytic philosophy in education
