Abstract
The expression "Middle Ages" traditionally indicates an era comprised between the end of the fifth centuly A.D. and the end of the fifteenth century, and precisely up to the discovery of America (1492 A.D.). The Middle Ages have for a long time been considered a dark period in the history of medicine; only in recent times has such a negative view been questioned, and a number of epistemological and operational achievements in the areas of health education, care and management have been appropriately underlined within it.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
