Immigration is an increasing phenomenon in the world which could represent a potential positive experience and an opportunity for people development. Social networks close to immigrants in the host country could offer an important support for a better integration and better health and psychological well-being conditions. The present investigation aims to identify possible association between perceived social support and immigrants psychological well-being and physical and mental health. These dimensions may play a role as risk or protective factors for the quality of life of immigrants in the host country.
