The bivariate development of Delinquent Behaviors and Anxious/Depression symptoms from the age of 14 to 16 years was investigated in relation to time-invariant predictors (parental education, previous school failure and social failure at T1 defined as rejected status) and to time-varying effects of concurrent school achievement and social problems in each time. The sample consisted of 518 Italian adolescents longitudinally followed for three consecutive years (399 males; 199 females).
