The paper presents results of an experimental campaign on cold-bent laminated glass (LG) specimens to evaluate relaxation of interfacial shear stresses, which are induced by the manufacturing process. As these stresses relax over time but do not vanish completely, delamination can appear even after a long time from cold-bending. To reduce risk of delamination, cold-bent LGs can be heated over the glass transition temperature of PVB. Experimental tests aimed to investigate effects of heating after cold-bending of LGs together with effects of artificial weathering.

Abstract
The paper presents results of an experimental campaign on cold-bent laminated glass (LG) specimens to evaluate relaxation of interfacial shear stresses, which are induced by the manufacturing process. As these stresses relax over time but do not vanish completely, delamination can appear even after a long time from cold-bending. To reduce risk of delamination, cold-bent LGs can be heated over the glass transition temperature of PVB. Experimental tests aimed to investigate effects of heating after cold-bending of LGs together with effects of artificial weathering.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
