The article is concerning the problem of the care of self in the primary and secondary school from the point of view of the teacher. From the most important authors of the philosophical theory of the self (Heidegger, Hadot, Weil, Zambrano, Stein), the article shows the important perspective of the care on the learning and teaching processes. The last model of the care (Tronto) is particularly studied in depth and applied to the relationships teacher-student and teacher-classroom.
