L’Università di Firenze e l’accesso libero e gratuito alla conoscenza: l’esperienza di Flore

The University of Florence along the long march in favor of open access since 2000, when he created the Florence University Press (FUP) and initiated the repository E-Prints. On 4 November 2004 signed the Declaration of Messina. In 2011 the rector Alberto Tesi established the Commission's open access and the Senate has adopted "the principles of full and open literature in 'Statute (Art. 8, Scientific Research, paragraph 2). On 11 April 2012 the Senate unanimously approved the policy on Open Access; in January 2013 the University has inaugurated FLORE, Florence and Florence Repository Research, presented January 17, 2014 at twenty-four department directors. The University of Florence promotes the aims of open access with FLORE (green road) and FBD (partial gold road). L’Università di Firenze percorre da tempo la lunga marcia a favore dell’open access. Nel 2000 ha dato vita alla Firenze University Press (FUP) e ha avviato il repository E-Prints. Il 4 novembre 2004 ha firmato la Dichiarazione di Messina. Nel 2011 il rettore Alberto Tesi ha istituito la Commissione open access e il Senato ha fatto propri “i principi dell’accesso pieno e aperto alla letteratura nell’ Statuto (art. 8, Ricerca scientifica, comma 2). L’11 aprile 2012 Il Senato accademico ha approvato all’unanimità la policy sull’open access; a gennaio 2013 ha inaugurato FLORE, Florence Repository e Florence Research, presentato il 17 gennaio 2014 ai ventiquattro direttori di dipartimento. L’Università di Firenze persegue le finalità dell’open access con FLORE (via verde) e FUP (parziale via d’oro).
