Human territorialisation is a spontaneous and fundamental social process that has been the subject of intense debate since mid-20th century, and this has began to turn it from an un-reflexive pattern into an increasingly deliberate collective practice. In this essay, we propose to direct our attention to how a specific type of community practice such as co-design and cultural mapping can have an impact on territorialisation.
