The spiritual education of Veronica da Binasco is not much documented. This paper analyzes the available sources about her mystical experience and practice. The focus is the 'christiformitas', the most important topic of Veronica's experience and memory which are also the most helpful interpretative keys for understanding and analyzing her spirituality. The 'christiformitas' is a typical augustinian topic.It belongs to its cultural tradition documented in the writings by Simone da Cascia and, afterwards, by Giovanni da Salerno. The paper indicates some important sources of Veronica's spirituality in Simone da Cascia and in the vulgarization of Simone's concepts transmitted by Giovanni da Salerno.
