Previous research has demonstrated relationships between personality and both resilience and life satisfaction, particularly in adolescents and young adults. This study aims to verify the association between the Big Five personality traits and both resilience and life satisfaction in organizational contexts, with participants from three Italian organizational realities: 117 physicians, 123 nurses, and 101 employees of an insurance company. The participants filled out the Big Five Questionnaire (BFQ), the Connor- Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). The results of the present study showed that Neuroticism in particular consistently inversely explained a significantly larger percentage of variance both in resilience and life satisfaction in all three groups. The results contribute to the in-depth exploration of both the constructs of resilience and life satisfaction, broadening our understanding of their associations with personality traits, and in particular with neuroticism, in different organizational contexts.
