Digital photogrammetry was the first 3d method used recording material culture and archaeological contexts at the Etruscan sanctuary at Poggio Colla. Three case studies are discussed in this paper: two objects that were ritually deposited in the ‘Inscription Deposit’ and a rectangular excavation trench near the middle of the acropolis plateau. At this site architectural elements were often reused or redeposited with a precise directionality after the destruction of early monumental temple. The Structure From Motion strategy is tested in order to produce final 3D outputs that can meet the research requirements of archaeological documentation and interpretation of this complex Etruscan architectural context.
