Amuggar n’latlas – Le carrefour de l’Atlas di Khénifra - Un esperienza di progettazione partecipativa nel Medio Atlante – Marocco

The project of building an “eco museum” in earthen architecture in Khénifra was developed within a lager development programme by COSPE (an italian NGO), in partnership with the local Moroccan association AOS (Association Oued Srou). The Programme “Human Development in Khénifra”, supported by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, is a three-year programme with 4 main focuses : • Education and training • Health • Environment • Economic development Building the EcoMuseum is a “project within the project”, set within the framework of a programme about upholding, developing and re-valuing local cultural, environmental and traditional technologies’ heritage. It is also a Pilot action which aims to stimulate practices which are more environmentally adequate, to change recently introduced building practices , to develop , including from an economic point of view, local natural and cultural resources.
