The paper aims to analyse, in a comparative perspective, the development of educational pathways for entrepreneurship in an Italian and a Nigerian University. Starting from the development of entrepreneurship in Higher Education in both countries, the paper intends to understand the institutional strategies and practices. The hypothesis suggests that the need for supporting young adults’ employability in their working lives (Yorke, 2006) is also based on how much graduates have developed entrepreneurial skills (Bacigalupo, Kampylis, Punie, Van den Brande, 2016). In this sense, the paper will compare how these Universities implemented specific course and services for that aim. It will focus, in particular, on the institutional strategies that indicate the Higher Education role in the development of entrepreneurship (First Paragraph) and on specific Universities’ practices in Italy and Nigeria (Second Paragraph). Indeed, it will elaborate an interpretation of the comparative results (Third Paragraph).
