Laser Scanning Surveys of Wooden Heritage and Timber Roof Structures and their post production. Methods for detailed 2D and 3D representations.

La pubblicazione costituisce il documento scientifico di sintesi e testimonianza di un importante workshop e seminario internazionale tenutosi nella tenuta storica di Louhisaari in Finlandia. La tenuta è costituita da edifici storici in muratura e legno inseriti in un parco all'inglese. L'edificio principale risale al 1655 ed è caratterizzato da un'importante struttura lignea di copertura, oggetto principale del workshop. Il contributo rappresenta una sintesi delle principali tematiche affrontate ed illustrate durante i seminari, ai quali sono stata invitata a partecipare come esperta in rilievo digitale laser scanner applicato a strutture lignee. All'evento hanno preso parte studenti, professori ed esperti del settore provenienti da numerose nazioni: Portogallo, Germania, Turchia, Svezia, Italia, Finlandia. ENGLISH version: The publication constitutes the summary scientific document and testimony of the important international workshop held on the historic manor of Louhisaari in Finland. The manor is constituted by historic buildings in brick and timber sturctures located in a fascinating English park settlement. The main building is from 1655 and it is characterized by an important wooden roof structure, main object of the analysis of the workshop. The article is a synthesis of the main themes presented and showed during the seminars, in which I was invited from the organisation to take part in as expert in digital survey applied on wooden structures. Students, professors, experts, technicians from many different countries ( for ex. Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Italy, inland) have taken part in this international event.
