Il contributo illustra l'attività di rilievo e documentazione eseguito per il Complesso architettonico della Pogost, patrimonio mondiale Unesco, situato sull'Isola di Kizhi in Russia. Il rilievo laser scanner ha consentito l'elaborazione di un vasto corpus di disegni tecnici aggiornati e elaborazioni tridimensionali ad altissima affidabilità metrica, grazie alle quali è stato possibile impostare un piano di conservazione e restauro di questo patrimonio ligneo. L'articolo si concentra sulla presentazione del progetto di rilievo, le metodologie utilizzate, le finalità. Dall'elaborazione dei dati metrici è stato possibile eseguire un'analisi di dettaglio sulla struttura architettonica della Chiesa della Trasfigurazione, sperimentare sistemi di censimento e catalogazione degli elementi lignei che la compongono. Principale obiettivo della ricerca è stata la strutturazione di un metodo di indagine e analisi per la tutela e salvaguardia del patrimonio ligneo. ENGLISH version: The contribution illustrates the survey and documentation activities carried out for the Pogost Complex, Unesco world Heritage, located on the island of Kizhi in Russia. The laser scanner survey allowed the elaboration of a vast corpus of updated technical drawings and three-dimensional elaborations with high metric reliability, thanks to which it has been possible to set up a conservation and restoration plan for this wooden heritage. The article focuses on the presentation of the survey project, the methodologies use and the main purposes. From the elaboration of the metric database it was possible to carry out a detailed analysis of the architectural structure of the Church of the Transfiguration, to experiment with census and cataloging systems the wooden elements that compose the building. The main objective of the research was to show the structure of a method of investigation and analysis for the preservation and protection of wooden heritage.
