The paper summarize the main achievents of the research on the linguistic feature of language in skizophrenic patients and proposes new findings based on corpus based analysis . The prosodic monothony characterizes the inguistic productions of skizophrenic patients at various levels; i.e information patterning, repetition patterns and lack of illocutionary variation.
