Two case studies show the contribution of non-formal and embedded education to the valorisation of local know-how as intangible culture and to the participation of local players in integrated territorial governance for the better management of natural and cultural resources. In order to make this process effective, there is a strong need for contributions from different disciplines—natural, cultural and pedagogical—including communication technologies.
