From Statu Nascenti to Tiny Publics, The search for a conceptual frame to understand our society's relationship with death

The research path proposed in the chapter is to analyze which structuring and recognition processes are going through self-help groups for mourning and how these groups, born far from society, gradually unite with each other and try to contribute to an awareness of society towards the theme of mourning thanks to new social actions. Death reappears on the public scene through a series of projects, here we will illustrate that of Cafés Mortels, following processes similar to those that characterize the formation of new groups or movements. The two concepts mentioned in the title of this chapter, Statu Nascenti and Tiny Publics, are useful references to describe the fluctuations of the analyzed objects, and are therefore considered here as intermediate topics, rather than final considerations, in which the questions, rather than the definitions , they will be clarified. Il percorso di ricerca proposto nel capitolo è quello di analizzare quali processi di strutturazione e riconoscimento stiano percorrendo i gruppi di auto mutuo aiuto per l’elaborazione della lutto e come questi gruppi, nati lontano dalla società, a poco a poco si uniscano tra di loro e provino a contribuire a una sensibilizzazione della società verso il tema del lutto grazie attraverso nuove azioni sociali. La morte riappare sulla scena pubblica attraverso una serie di progetti, qui illustreremo quello dei Cafés Mortels, seguendo processi simili a quelli che caratterizzano la formazione di nuovi gruppi o movimenti. I due concetti menzionati nel titolo di questo capitolo, Statu Nascenti e Tiny Publics, sono riferimenti utili per descrivere le fluttuazioni degli oggetti analizzati, e sono quindi considerati qui come argomenti intermedi, piuttosto che considerazioni finali, in cui le domande, più che le definizioni , si chiariranno.
