The success of knowledge management is strongly linked to how knowledge sharing (Ks) is implemented: gaining a competitive advantage calls for considering how expertise and know-how can be transferred from knowledgeable individuals to novices. Knowledge sharing allows employees to talk and listen to each other, by stimulating mutual exchange of information, experience and know how, thus representing a critical step for improving and exploiting individual and organizational knowledge.
