Fogli. Scritture per l'architettura

Il volume è la silloge di tredici saggi; attraversando diagonalmente gli artefatti e gli edifici, i luoghi e i tempi, i saperi e le discipline, si descrive un tragitto che solo in filigrana rivela una costellazione di quadri teorici a corredo della scrittura progettuale. Tra essi le polarità tra lunga durata e consumo, tra repertori storicizzati e loro inevitabile metamorfosi, tra costanza e motilità dei codici espressivi, tra l’aspirazione al disegno coerente e unitario e il comporre come pietà del frammento, tra innovazionismo utopico e poetiche delle relazioni situate e concrete. Punto di saldatura delle ricerche intraprese alcuni intendimenti di Cesare Garboli: sono state tutte l'occasione per tentare scritti di servizio, scritti servili, utensili imperfetti per l'architettura a-venire. The book is the silloge of thirteen essays; crossing diagonally the artifacts and the buildings, the places and the times, the knowledge and the disciplines, it describes a path that only in filigree reveals a constellation of theoretical cues to accompany the design writing. Among them the polarities between longue durée and consumption, between historicalized repertoires and their inevitable metamorphoses, between constancy and motility of expressive codes, between the aspiration to coherent and unitary design and composing as piety of the fragment, between utopian and poetic innovationism of situated and concrete relations. The welding point of the research undertaken was some of Cesare Garboli's intentions: they were all an opportunity to attempt service writings, imperfect tools for architecture of the future.
